Georgetown District High School
Our message is Drive Sober – 100%. To create an effective campaign, we are using a combination of posters, chalk murals in the school parking lot, announcements on the school PA system, a presentation at school assemblies or classes, and a presence in community events. Our Transportation Technology class will create a parade car branded with our messaging for fairs and Santa Claus parades. We will use a “Drivewise” simulator that will replicate driving in a variety of situations, including distractions so students can appreciate the risks of driving but in a safe and secure setting. We are also planning to commandeer the weekly local car show and invite them to hold it at our school.
