Ruidoso High School
Ruidoso High SADD’s slogan – "It’s Your LIFE!" will focus on educating our students, community and other New Mexico schools about driving responsibly. SADD will initiate projects that include: Seat belt checks, PSAs, sidewalk chalk messages, a motivational speaker, newspaper articles, car tags, curriculum inclusion, pledge contracts, student/parent contracts for life, a float in Aspenfest parade, Red Ribbon Week activities, parent education, a drunk driving simulator, and a "Sticker Shock" project if available through MADD. Other projects will include a breathalyzer at Prom, letters to high school students from elementary students encouraging them to be safe, and notices to parents regarding teen driving laws and the consequences of underage drinking.
