Ruidoso High School
The Ruidoso High SADD Project Ignition proposal focuses on buckling up, driving sober, understanding the consequences of distracted and drowsy driving, being responsible and driving within the speed limits, and using refusal skills to make right choices. We intend to show the passengers and people NOT behind the wheel that they have the power to change situations when they see an impaired driver acting irresponsible. Everyone has a voice to STAND UP for what is right, and by doing so, our teens will STAND OUT above the best.
This is the first year SADD has worked with Project Ignition. We will be campaigning for responsible driving through PSAs, awareness programs, guest speakers, curriculum involvement, students/parent driving contracts, and numerous activities. SADD hopes to reach the students and keep our Warriors safe on the road.
