Payson High School
Payson High School student government will take a hard look at three issues that impact teen driving: distracted driving, speeding, and seat-belt usage. Our message “tnk B4 u drV!” (Think before you drive!) will be delivered on and off campus through football games, programs, assemblies, posters, video messages, announcements, Homecoming parade, police department events, and classroom participation. Our project will culminate with a Project Ignition Day involving Payson Police and Fire Departments, Native Air (rescue helicopter), Local State Farm Agents, Gila Community College, and PHS students as we provide a day of learning to promote safe teen driving.
