Baltic High School
This is Baltic High School’s third year of involvement in Project Ignition and we have a variety of projects planned for the coming school year. These include a seat-belt check and red ribbons tied on antennas at home football and basketball games, bicycle safety day activities, anti drinking and driving week promotions such as a Ghost Out, stories of loved ones lost to drinking and driving, anti drinking and driving statistics on all vending machine products, lunchroom table tents, parent student contracts and custom bumper stickers. We also train our 8th graders each year on the dangers of drugged and drunk driving and use the vision impaired goggles to simulate the effects on alcohol on reaction times and driving ability.
