Owen Valley High School
Owen Valley High School is starting their second year in Project Ignition, a teen driver safety campaign. Last year’s Project Ignition team successfully completed its first campaign by touching the lives of people in their community. This year Owen Valley is looking to expand the campaign statewide by establishing the Hoosier Alliance group. “Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow—Striving for Safer Driving” will focus on four main areas: seat-belt usage, speeding, cell phone usage, and educating peers on motorcycle/ATV safety. Issues selected are relevant and will impact our peer’s daily lives. We will use a variety of ways to share our message and strive to reach all teen drivers.
