Fulton County Health Department is proud to be sponsoring its first Project Ignition county-wide endeavor that will address the teen driving issues of texting/talking on the phone while driving, driving under the influence, and the importance of wearing seat belts. Each school district’s Students With Advocacy Training (SWAT) team will host safe driving fairs for their sophomores. Once the fairs are completed, a short-film/PSA contest extolling the virtues of safe driving will take place at each school. Ultimately, students will take a safe driving pledge, and the school with the highest percentage of pledges will receive a traveling trophy.
