"Think and Drive, You're the Key"

Our project will be aimed at increasing education for parents and teens on the best ways to keep teens safe on the road. To show the importance of our program we will be collecting 4,600 keys, one for every teen who died in a car accident last year. We will also be hosting a family BBQ for parents and teens to come and learn about driving safety, how to teach your teen to drive, the dangers of texting and other distractions when driving, and how to open the lines of communication with your teen so that you can help them to be better drivers. Lastly, we will be developing a website with all of the best information for parents and teens, and also for drivers education teachers, that will help to ensure that the right information is readily available to all those who need it. We hope that through these efforts we can show teens that they should THINK when they DRIVE because THEY ARE THE KEY to staying safe of the road.
