The Mardi Gras "Act Responsibly" Campaign
Their campaign focuses on reinforcing healthy lifestyle choices and good decision making in an effort to reduce the incidents of risky behaviors during Mardi Gras. The focus of activities will be primarily on teen driver safety and making the right decisions. By using public service announcements over the PA system during the week leading up to Mardi Gras break, information posted on their school website, in the parents weekly newsletter and in the alumni newsletter- the team from Benjamin Franklin will draw attention to this critical issue and teen leaders on the Peer Assistant Team will let their peers know- it's cool to be a safe driver.
