Pioneer High School
Students will host a school wide competition where students can participate in choosing a name for their project this year. The winner will be chosen by the Project Ignition team and rewarded with a prize.
Throughout the year, they will be honing in on the safety issues related to impaired/distracted driving. Before each of four school dances the focus will be specifically on impaired driving, because this is a problem that has not only affected their school, but the larger community as well. Many students have seen their friends and family members get seriously injured or killed over the last several years because of impaired driving, and they believe it is time to step up and alert others of these dangers.
